What is FII/DII?
FII (Foreign Institutional Investors) are overseas entities investing in Indian markets. When FIIs buy, it signals foreign confidence — when they sell, it often causes market dips.
DII (Domestic Institutional Investors) include mutual funds, insurance companies and banks. DIIs often buy when FIIs sell, providing market stability.
